Park Hotel Alexandra

Sometimes I feel that it is more about the people than the products they are selling. Everyone likes to work with nice people. During a recent styled shoot with Bridestory, Park Hotel was the official venue for the shoot. We met at a site recce to discuss the concerns and requirements. Siew Leng was extremely accommodating to our requests. You can imagine everyone in the meeting throwing new ideas to her, for every idea or request, she has to go through the chain of command to ask for approval from management. There are things she rejected but with a reasonable explanation of why it is so mainly due to safety of the hotel guests. She handled all our requests from booking additional rooms for wet weather to usage of their facilities and venue for the photoshoot. On the night before the shoot, I realised I need parking access to unload equipment, she happily said yes although its a really last minute request and it meant more work for her. On the shoot day she was on standby for the whole duration of the shoot (noon till 8pm), assigning their manpower to help us with our various tasks like getting hot water for dry ice and drinks for everyone. We worked together till night and you can imagine how shack everyone was that day. We had a late dinner nearby Park hotel at a famous zhi cha stall opposite (you can ask her). She shared with us her ups and downs of being a marketing manager and the long hours, and how she love her job as it is her passion since young. Her constant smile will make you laugh before you even know it =)

Park Hotel Alexandra has a great poolside area on the 7th floor that served as the venue for our photoshoot. The cool, laid-back vibe makes it a suitable choice for more intimate, modern weddings.

Our solemnization by the pool and wedding lunch was amazing and beautiful. Kudos to Kenneth and his team, including OM Janson and Alvin. We had a wonderful time during the event and including our 2- night stay at the hotel. Every detail was well taken care of, from the food to the decorations.

Wanted to give zero star Feel exploited by the hotel. To book a day wedding lunch for next year , they want me to book 8 guest rooms . If not, they will only confirm the venue 30 days before the wedding. This is not stated initially when they lock the dates for me. Do not be conned by the hotel After speaking to their manager, it was still a wasted effort. Apologies cannot change the fact I was been conned . Anyone who want to book their function room in the future for wedding, please prepare to book 8 guest room.

View the venue, was told verbally will reserve 2 weeks for us. Within 2 weeks, we replied with interest. And what I get was given to cooperate event. Ask if I can change my lunch to dinner. Was so disappointed.
