$30 nonrefundable for the initial sketch and fabric options
1/2, nonrefundable of the total garment price before pattern making and draping begins
Remaining nonrefundable balance before the gown is made from the actual garment fabric

It all depends on the complexity of the design as well accessibility of the fabrics
What makes your services unique?
While I do offer couture gowns I also offer an experience. I keep my brides up to date through the entire process by sending them pictures of their gown throughout the process. From the initial pattern or drape, to the inner construction and finishing touches, my brides get a personal gown shopping experience.
I also include built in corsets and petticoats when necessary so that my brides do not have to worry about finding the right one for their body and gown.
How far in advance should your client contact you?
At least 6 months for bridal gowns and 2 months for veils and other hair accessories.
