Art aficionados enjoying the contemporary cultural experience at the National Gallery Singapore will find that the journey continues at Yàn, the museum's haute Cantonese restaurant. Its chinoiserie chic interior design sets the stage for a sophisticated dining experience. The space is a picture of visual harmony; featuring a lighter palette of woods and dove grey interiors. Silk weaving, one of Chinese culture’s oldest form of art, takes centre stage in the dining hall as it lends inspiration to the brightly coloured space dividers where strings in hues of red, pink and purple interweave.Three private dining rooms are each adorned in warm oak timber strips, an original feature art piece and curved corners for a soft finishing.
