Vilia Wedding Planner

I'm doing this review after a few months just to make sure my thoughts and recommendations are not tarnished with a post-wedding high and hopefully this gives you a more honest review. We were referred to Vilia Wedding by Ritz Carlton because we chose our venue before we chose a wedding planner. Initially, we just wanted a simple wedding - a wedding ceremony followed by a dinner reception and thats it. Novi and her team didnt seem too happy when they heard that - they gave us loads of ideas to “spice it up” a little - most we took, some we declined. If it wasnt for their persistance, we would have had a mediocre wedding. Their suggestions really made the wedding a memorable occasion for both us and our family and friends. All our guests were so happy and entertained and Vilia Team did such a great job both in terms of pre-wedding preparation and on-the-day coordination. It was probably the most stress- and drama-free wedding anyone could ever have. That itself is worth it! Everyone commented how chilled and laid-back we were in the days leading up to our wedding, we were able to focus on our friends and family and make the most of the time we were all together. Its all because we trusted Novi and her team and they did such an amazing job before and on the day of the wedding. If anyone is considering a destination wedding in Bali, I would strongly recommend Vilia Wedding as they really did a great job for both planning and execution. They guarantee to make your wedding the most memorable and stress-free wedding to cherish and enjoy.

It all started when I saw an Instagram ad about this cute phonebooth vendor that Vilias IG page posted, as an insight to what would be fun to add at our wedding! I clicked on it, went to their IG page, and immediately contacted them for an inquiry! First initial impression of them was the fast response and the willingness to listen to my needs and concerns. Both of us are typically a couple who dont have much desire on what our wedding was going to look like. I would say Im a simple bride that wants truly whats best for our guests, as opposed to ourselves. Imagine this: I dont have a pinterest board made for what my wedding will look like. I just know this: I like the color blue, I want guests to be entertained, I want to enjoy my day with my husband and of course, more importantly, I want to look beautiful on my wedding day lol. Vilia Team gave us really great insights and vendor recommendations based on our budget (which was not too large btw). The selected vendors they gave us all were fantastic selections, and neither me nor my hubby had to talk to any of them, which was the best part. Vilia did everything for us: the negotiating, the inquiries, everything! Our long distance preparation, between the US and Bali, may seem like a challenging task, but it was easier than expected, thanks to Vilia. They would respond to us in odd hours due to the time difference, even though I didnt expect them to because I knew if I waited to inquire something, I would forget about it the next day. But they are always on top of our requests and many inquiries nevertheless! Shout out to Kak Hendra and Kak Dini, you guys are the absolute best! I cant thank you enough! They worked so hard to make our wedding oh so special. Fast forward to our most special day, the team of organizers did a fabulous job directing and assisting us and our family + bridal party. Everything went so smoothly because of them. They are all such kind and warm people too! I noticed they worked so hard all day to help us and are always full energy, despite the long hours. I want to give a special shoutout to, Onny, my bridal assistant. She is the kindest person who gave me a lot of encouragement and positivity. Throughout the day, the schedule is full with not only the series of events (from the morning Holy Matrimony, the Tea Ceremony, the reception and even the after party), but also photo and video shoots all day. Onny made sure that I get my rest even though it was almost impossible to get some. That meant she had to do the difficult task in forcing one of the vendors to pause the shoot because there were a lot of content to shoot, just so I can get the rest that I needed. Thank you Onny for making my day beautiful and easy breezy!

We had our wedding in May 2024 at the Laguna in Nusa Dua. Since we secured our venue first, we asked the planning team at Laguna for wedding planner referrals and that led us to find Novi at Vilia Wedding. We're so thankful we found her! Novi & her team were always available via our shared WhatsApp chat and she referred us to several other vendors she partners with to ensure our special day (and welcome party) went off without a snag. Thank you to everyone on Novi's massive team who supported us on our wedding day and the planning team that helped us plan such a large event half a world away. We live in the USA, so planning an event in Bali was no easy task, but Novi's team made it a breeze. Thanks again! Novi is a rockstar and she won't disappoint you on your special day!

Originally, my husband and I were going to plan this destination wedding by ourselves, but we quickly scrapped that idea when we were having roadblocks just trying to communicate with vendors due to the time difference. After doing some research, visiting and deciding on the venue, we looked around for wedding planners to help coordinate. We eventually settled with one that immediately caught our interest just by the quick and timely response to our request. From day one, Vilia Weddings have been super responsive and very helpful in providing advice, vendor recommendations that fit our motive & budget, and supporting in the background communication with local vendors in our stead. Fast forward, to the day of the wedding, the wedding from start to finish was perfect. Everyone, especially Albert and I, had the time of our lives and could not picture a better way to celebrate our third and final wedding! Thank you so much Novilia, Hening, Bey, and the whole team for a wonderful experience! I cannot recommend this team enough if youre considering having your wedding in Bali. They will not disappoint you!
