Stephen Chin Photography

Rebecca and I were introduced to Stephen by a mutual friend whom have worked with him on several projects for many years. Prior to meeting Stephen, we did the usual homework on bridal shoot packages, studios and photographers and was bracing ourselves not knowing what would be the outcome. We fixed an appointment with Stephen and found him an extremely down to earth person and was never imposing or trying to influence our preferences i.e. I may seem to be a loud person among my peers, all I ever wanted was simplistic yet placing close attention to the emotions/body languages for the day. And we have to say that we achieved everything we hoped for with Stephen's help! We engaged Stephen for two sessions in November 2012 - one which was our ROM and luncheon and the other was our wedding banquet. You would imagine separate engagements would cost a bomb but Stephen ensured that he tweaked his packages and went on the extra mile in suggesting locations for post session outdoor shoots during our ROM day. I recalled once that we "questioned" his advice in purposing a shoot at a particular location and he would always be positive in explaining to us the reason behind it. And when we decline on that location, he was positive with our inputs and come back with several good alternatives. On day, Stephen with his communicative personality made everyone (whom were strangers mostly) in the room comfortable throughout the ROM and lunch session. The outdoor shoot with an entourage of 20 persons was a breeze. Everyone got on so well enjoying friendly banters with Stephen and the entourage stayed on for a round of drinks after the shoot ended. Come the day of the banquet, Rebecca and I left Stephen to run the show after a quick brief and he certainly upped his game. He would go into his stand by mode in advance for the standard activities during the banquet and was ever present for any impromptu toasting happening at different corners of the room! To end off, Stephen isn't just any photographer who would stopped at the point of handing you your photos. He followed up with several stuff in our package which we could only work on a year plus after we got our new home. Such is his dedication which Rebecca and I are grateful to - and we are hopeful that future couples will enjoy engaging him for their big day too!

We engaged Stephen for our ROM photography on Feb 2014. He is a very nice and easy going individual who met up with us prior to the event to discuss our needs and gave us ideas to what can be done as well. On the day of our ROM, he came very early to prepare and took many awesome shots of us. Most importantly, he made us feel at ease and very comfortable. It's not like a typical photography session where you need to struggle to bring out a smile. He was able to crack jokes and communicate so well with us as well as our bridesmaids & groomsmen. Many shots turned out pretty natural and it is always a joy looking back at the photographs. He works well within your budget, very accommodating & professional and he gives you the best just like what he promises from the start. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for photography for your events. Stephen, we wish that you would soar greater heights. Wishing you the best!

Most important, he is not those pushy type to sell you expensive package but instead listen to your requests and finding the best fit for your budget.
