Are you available to shoot after hours?
We are not time restricted and we do want to make sure that we capture your day completely and not make you stress about the timeline. In the case that the wedding lasts longer than expected, we will stay and ask for your permission to keep photographing
How do you usually direct the couple during a photoshoot?
i direct them personally with my team, making sure every moment looks great in the album
What rate do you usually charge at?
We offer packages for every budget. We do understand that you are working on a budget and we strive to offer to our wedding clients an option to get everything that they want made, in such a way that they stay within budget. For all of our wedding packages, a good way to save is to combine our products. Contact us today and find out how you can save money on your wedding.
How soon after the event will the proof be ready for review?
Within 15 business days of your wedding, you will receive your personal proofing web page. This page is designed to see your photos have been retouched and designed for the wedding album and photobook. This page is password protected.
What is your payment terms?
To secure your wedding date a IDR 5.000.000,- non refundable retainer is required and We will send you a Wedding Agreement which you need to sign and return to us to fully confirm your booking. This outlines terms and condition.

Most of our services are based on a full day rate.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, is it a requisite for the client to provide your meal?
We usually brief our client to provide the meals during the D- day to all crew.

We use professional Nikon FX camera equipment, with a range of lenses from super wide to super zoom. This ensures we can capture the whole scene as a beautiful landscape, as well as the close up moments. Typically our cameras have 24 megapixel digital SL

How would you describe your working style ?
Here at Platypus Photography, we want our clients to feel comfortable and be able to enjoy their day. We do ask every client in our wedding consultation questions
regarding how comfortable are they with us being there. We inquire about where you would like us to be at the reception, getting ready and during the ceremony.
We don’t like posing! Will that be a problem ?
Not at all. We love photographing people in fun/silly/romantic poses, but also really thrive on capturing people being their natural selves – laughing, chatting, gettin’ down on the dance floor… We’ll capture the honest moments that happen through your day (that’s the really good stuff, anyway).
How far in advance do I need to book with you ?
Most couples enquire 3-6 months before their wedding to check our availability, the faster, the better is the best way to book us.
However as we have 4 principal photographers, so sometimes your date may still
be available closer than this so please ask us.
How do we book ?
