Maqui’s is originated from Kobe, Japan. It was founded by Mr. Yoshiyasu Noda, who was the executive production director at Morozoff of Kobe-Japan, one of the biggest sweet and confectionary manufacturers in Japan. Mr. Noda later on opened his first Maqui’s store in 2002, located at Rokko-Michi and another one in Motomachi shopping arcade, both in Kobe city.
