Great musician and a very much needed assistance in wedding entertainment from my side. More than satisfied with the band and the whole team.

One of the biggest challenges of our wedding was finding the appropriate band, as we had a decided on a Gatsby theme. I, as the groomzilla, was very specific that I wanted a SWING BAND with brass sections to create the proper atmosphere. I was introduced to J&D Southern and immediately Daniel arranged a meeting to find out what exactly we wanted on the day. He was extremely accommodating to our difficult requests, down to the way we wanted specific songs replicated from Post Modern Jukebox, and most importantly, how our first dance song had to be arranged EXACTLY. His professionalism is superb, and is generally a wonderful person to work with. I cannot give enough kudos to the band's performance on the big day. Nesshia and Umbu NAILED it on Every. Single. Song. They created such a vibrant atmosphere that the entire main table (parents included) were bobbing their heads to everh tune. Nesshia's powerful vocals complimented Umbu's smooth, silky tenor perfectly. I highly recommend this duo perform together again for any event. All in all, I can't sing enough praises for J&D Southern. I wish them all the best in the future!

Faire was willing to go the extra length to practice and perform several songs at short notice. Their strength is making accoustic version of some of the pop songs and make it into their own style. Jon Luki, Sara, and Umbu are very good singers with each unique vocal and skillful delivery. Stick to their recommended repertoire of songs and you will discover a true gem at a bargain!
