How do you usually direct the couple during a photoshoot?
There is minimal direction from me, unless couples need a lot of help. I would say 99% of the couples do superbly under little or no direction (they just don't know it yet). The other 1% is exceptional.
What rate do you usually charge at?
I charge hourly or by 5-hourly blocks, depending on the nature of work and days of the week.
How soon after the event will the proof be ready for review?
Within a week.
How long does it take for the client to receive the final product?
2-3 months, depending on which months their weddings fall on.
How far in advance should your client contact you?
Three months or longer. Having said that, I love to work with last-minute couples. :)
What makes your services unique?
My work is difficult to replicate, both on my part as well as my competitors, because each set of images are unique to the subjects, locations and the chemistry. I don't care how pretty the place is decorated, or how expensive the dress is. Those not a prefect marriage maketh. It's all about the little things that connect and bind, and those little moments and memories to savour. Once we can treasure the little things, the big things will take care of themselves.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, is it a requisite for the client to provide your meal?
Lunch is not necessary if the first par of the wedding ends by 2pm. Dinner is appreciated on location though. I probably need 15 minutes to polish down some fried rice or sandwich and the couple won't even know it.
What payment systems are available for your business?
Cheques, Cash
What is your payment terms?
For the cheapest package, a $500 retainer fee is required. Any other packages.....$1000 retainer.
When was your business established?
This new label was started in 2015. I've been a professional photographer since 1999.
