How do you usually direct the couple during a photoshoot?
Our style is a blend of a traditional portraiture and candid photojournalism/documentary approach. When it comes to capturing a wedding, we aim to tell the story of your day as it unfolds. We'll definitely guide you in your poses and let you know what looks good (Our job is to make sure you look great!), but we have found that some of the best photos are from those authentic moments captured as they occur naturally throughout the day.

How far in advance should your client contact you?
Contact us as soon as possible to reserve your date! The ideal time to contact us is a year out from the wedding or event, but if your event is sooner definitely get in touch with us as quickly as you can to make sure your date is available.
What makes your services unique?
We pride ourselves on building authentic relationships with the couples we work with. These connections are great because the vendor you will spend the most time with on your wedding day is your photographer/cinematographer. One of the best ways to do this is with an engagement session (which we include in all our wedding collections!) for several reasons. First and foremost, it is an opportunity to get to know each other better. Second, it gives you both some time in front of the camera in a low stress environment so that you're more comfortable with being posed and photographed together prior to your big day! Ultimately, we provide an experience that is relaxed and leaves our clients feeling comfortable while being photographed.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, is it a requisite for the client to provide your meal?
Generally, our clients provide our photographers/videographers with a meal. We tend to take a break during the dinner hour when guests are eating and there is not a lot going on at the reception. When needed, we coordinate with each other to make sure there is no lapse in photography coverage.

How do you direct the couple when you are capturing their moments of their wedding?
This is largely dependant on whether or not the client has hired a different photographer. For weddings where we are not providing the primary photography services, we tend to allow the photographer to take the lead on direction. When we are providing both photography and cinematography, we direct couples accordingly.
