Me without you, is like a leafless fall, a snowless winter, and a flowerless spring. Me without you, is like a colorless rainbow, a sunless day, and a starless night. Me without you, is like the ocean without a wave, the beach without sand, and a flameless fire. Me without you, is like a book without words, a man without a face, and a child with no name. I hold our love in the palm of my hand as one would a newborn: with awe and delicacy, with softness and protection, with the promise to nurture. I hold our love in the palm of my hand as I would my own, accepting its fragility, acknowledging its power, respecting its potency and most of all, understanding its need to be cherished I recognize that the love I feel for you is a gift to be appreciated, and in so doing, it may have the chance to grow and flourish. Dedicated this beautiful poem to Edsel and Ana. May the love you have for each other never cease. Congratulations on getting engaged, Edsel and Ana!
