A Disney Snow White Bridal Shoot

From gathering the vendors, to putting together the decor- to actually finding a model- my jaw droppingly gorgeous friend, Vanessa, who very recently got married. Her dress, which looks like something out of a Disney film, is actually part of Disney’s wedding collection and inspired by Snow White. It’s perhaps fitting that I designed the shoot around Snow White’s poisoned apple. I envisioned the end product to be whimsical, raw, yet elegant- much like the lady in question. Naturally, the colour scheme featured colours such as red and white strongly. Red, a clear element and representation of the apple, and white symbolising the purity and innocence of the character. The brown elements were decided upon when I visited the location, Iona Beach at Richmond, BC. I felt I had to do the beautiful environment justice and tied in elements of the tablescape to the natural surrounding green and brown tones.
