Marriage in Islam is the unity of two human beings with different sexes in order to worship to Allah SWT. It’s formed by 2 different people, 2 different cultures, 2 different families, 2 different point of views. This is why Marriage is also about flexibility. Both bride and groom need to have a great desire and ability to adapt to each other. In life, change is inevitable, isn’t it? wink emoticon It is important to be able to adapt to the changes. When you were a single, you can wake up any way and any time you want, you can eat any kind of food you want, etc. In short, you have your rule for your own world! But when you’re already a husband/wife, you must respect your couple’s habits, favourite food, sleeping hours, and everything about her/him. It’s not easy and sometimes it hurts you. Sometimes it’s fun, sometime it’s painful. It’s not for a short time but for a lifetime. But don’t worry, Your effort to respect your couple will be rewarded with His Heaven by Allah SWT, insyaAllah. Aamiin. Barakallahulaka wa barakallahu ‘alaika wajama’a bainakuma fii khoiir, Wiranda – Nirwan. May Allah bless your marriage until both of you reunited in eternal life prepared by Allah.
