Sang jit-thau or people often say sang jit is a traditional Chinese pre-weding ceremony. It is an important part of the Chinese wedding tradition. The groom's family presents the bride's family with betrothal gifts to symbolize prosperity and good luck. Moreover, the bride's family receives the bride price in red envelopes. The bride's family also returns a set of gifts to the groom's side. Some of the tradition only involves the groom's extended family, so the groom and his parents himself didn't attend the ceremony. And here we have Yanna, a beautiful bride-to-be doing her family tradition at her house. Attended by her closest families and friends. Did you notice her sisters' and her beautiful dresses? It's all made by herself. So lovely isn't it. The family then have a lunch time together after the ceremony is finished.
