Engagement - 1920's Inspired Noel Nassar Events fell in love with the furnishings and architectural features of the room such as the brick work, the exposed beams and the stunning glass window that perfectly framed the Sydney skyline. Particularly, the mint green chairs in the room so our styling actually worked around this piece of furnishing. We also drew on our couple's personal style and love for the phalaenopsis orchid so we decided to utilise the colour palates of black, white, grey and pewter to make the room look elegant, sophisticated and very “old world”. Noel Nassar has always been fascinated with 1920’s fashion, décor and art deco draping so our styling choices were influenced by the love of this era. From the suspended floral, to the individual phalaenopsis plants nestled in crystal cut vessels, to the Preston Bailey table linen, the black and white art deco draping, the black and grey charger plates, the bow tie styled napkins with exclusive Noel Nassar Events handmade napkin rings, the mirror runners framing the abundance of candlelight, this room just looked amazing.
