The octagon shape was chosen by him because he knew that it was found in baptisteries as a symbol representing eternal life – likely because the number eight is symbolic of renewal. It was chosen also because it also symbolizes renewal, rebirth, regeneration, and transition. Besides, green tourmaline is known to boost inner joy, optimism, and good spirits. Thus, by customizing this ring, Christio hopes that it has special meaning for him and that it will always be his encouragement as a reminder in perceiving and dealing in every matter that he will go through. That no matter how difficult the things he faces, every day is a new beginning that must be welcomed with grace and joy in his heart.
