The Great Gatsby The vision was inspired by our clients love for Baz Lurhman’s rendition of the 1920’s classic, The Great Gatsby. Rather than emulating all that the film encompassed in terms of decor, instead Noel Nassar Events utilised the colour palates of white, black, and gold with elements of crystal to create an elegant, opulent and luxurious setting. The Exhibition Hall at Australian Technology Park Conference and Event Centre (ATPCC) offered a flexible and diverse space which enabled Noel Nassar Events to completely transform it into a spectacular event. The role of Noel Nassar Events was to work collaboratively alongside Sydney’s top vendors to execute with precision a glamorous and sophisticated event. We absolutely loved the cluster chandelier which featured the majestic Queen Elizabeth and 22 Crystal Katerina chandeliers. What was also impressive was the 22m x 11m gold decal dance floor with the couples initials positioned right on centre, above the spectacular cluster chandelier. The grand detailed nine-tier cake nestled on a beautiful gold ornate (2.2mH x 1.5mW) frame. To draw on the extravagance of the roaring 20’s, the back of the bridal table was draped with black and oyster fabric which was further accentuated with strands of crystal. Overall the event really pushed the boundaries of event production and styling that even Tina Arena who performed on the evening exclaimed that “the wedding would have made Baz Luhrmann proud”.
