I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Chris and Monica during their pre-wedding photoshoot in Yogyakarta. This time, I decided to conduct the session in the unique locations of Gumuk Pasir Parangkusumo and Depok. The rugged yet stunning landscapes provided the perfect backdrop for their love story to unfold through my camera lens. As the golden sunlight painted the dunes and fields, I focused on capturing the genuine emotions shared between Chris and Monica. Amidst the photoshoot session, a truly magical moment took place that added an unexpected twist to the day. Chris decided to seize the perfect moment and propose to Monica. The excitement and anticipation were palpable, and I was privileged to be there to document this life-changing instant. Monica's surprised and tearful reaction, combined with the breathtaking surroundings, created a scene straight out of a fairy tale. Witnessing their raw emotions and the beginning of a new chapter in their journey was an incredibly moving experience. As a photographer, it was immensely fulfilling to not only freeze these precious moments in time but also to play a small role in their love story. The session in Gumuk Pasir Parangkusumo and Depok not only yielded beautiful and romantic photographs but also became a pivotal moment in their lives. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of photography to capture the essence of love and freeze it in images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
