Legian Beach Hotel & Candi Beach Resort & Spa

On 23 June 2017 Troy and I were married in paradise, Legian Beach Hotel, Bali. With so many wedding destinations in Bali now we chose this particular hotel as my work colleague was married there 2 years prior so we knew we were in good hands. Another reason we chose this hotel is the traditional Bali theme of the hotel, the glorious gardens, beautiful grounds and it is right opposite the beach. There are so many high rise hotels in Bali now but this hotel is honestly a treasure. The hotel went above and beyond to make our day everything we hoped and dreamed for. Wida, the wedding planner, is an absolute superstar and will cater to all your needs. She will help you choose a wedding package and add to it to your liking. I cannot thank you enough Wida from the bottom of my heart. The hotel not only looked after all our wedding needs but also accommodation for the groom and I and 2 very large families. Everyone was ecstatic with their accommodation and I know many will be returning. Many of our wedding guests were first time travellers to Bali but have all discussed coming back after how much they loved this hotel. My husband and I are anything but ultra conservative and we strive to be different. We were married over looking the beach with our priest/celebrant in traditional Balinese dress. It was a short ceremony, just what we wanted. The set up was jaw dropping. The flowers and decorations alone were absolutely stunning. Absolutely wow!!!! I still can't believe how beautiful it looked. There are other locations where you can get married within the hotel also if the beach view is not your thing. We then decided to have a cocktail style reception in the garden. Although the hotel does cater for a sit down dinner this was not for us. We had tables and seats for senior guests but decided cocktail tables and a cocktail style was what we wanted. I had a lot of requests for the reception set-up with signs and photographs brought from home, souvenirs etc and it all looked again AMAZING - like a dream. Lanterns and fairy lights made it look just beautiful. We had a band who were amazing!!!!! They really got the party started. And played exactly the music we were after. We had cocktails and specific drink requests and finger food - all delicious. Pyro-fireworks for our first dance and the cake was just beautiful. The staff were always on hand for our guests and I was actually really surprised at how many staff were on hand that night. Whatever you have in your mind Wida will work with you to make your day amazing. The hotel will go out of its way to accommodate you and your requests. Everything really did go amazing. Even the weather turned it on for us that day with a gorgeous day and magnificent sunset. We booked our photographer through the hotel and it ended up being 2 photographers. The photos turned out amazing, we could not be happier. As were the bouquets, they were stunning. Thank you to Wida, the bar manager and all the staff who helped make our day amazing. I can't wait to come and check on our wedding tree each time we return - what a beautiful gesture. Thank you once again Legian Beach Hotel for making our wedding dreams come true.

We had our wedding at Legian Beach hotel a few weeks ago and everything was beautiful!!! If you are looking for a tropical wedding I would highly recommend this venue. The thing I like most about this hotel is the lush tropical gardens and the beautiful greenery everywhere, such a great setting for a wedding and ultimately why we chose this venue. The decorations were so pretty and Ibu Wida and her team did such a great job with everything. The food was amazing and the cocktails were delicious and tasted exactly like the ones we had taste tested for our drinks list. I would highly recommend the choconut cocktail - our favourite ;-) I loved all the food on the buffet that I tried and only heard positive comments from the guests! The little desserts were very yummy! Everyone had a great time, even commenting that it was the best wedding they had been to! We couldn't have hoped for more and were so happy with how everything turned out. A big thank you to all the staff involved that made our day so special!

The gazebo is a perfect venue for a beautiful tropical resort wedding ceremony!

We had our wedding ceremony on the beach followed by the reception at the ocean view terrace bar. I was blown away with the decore, all the decorations, flowers, table settings etc... were perfect. It was so magical and truely a dream come true. The food was amazing, we had the international buffet and all our guests loved it too. All the staff were helpfull and completely accomodating to our ideas and preferences. I communucated with Wida threw out the planning process and i highly recommend her. The photos taken were of a high standard and very professional. It was a day my husband and I will never forget. Ih highly recommend the Legian beach hotel.
