Jakarta, October 26, 2017, Jessica Sambudiono proudly present her Spring/ Summer 2018 “Purification” Collection at Jakarta Fashion Week, Senayan City Tent, Jakarta Selatan. As her introductory fashion show, she brings up 8 designs in one sequence through her collections, which is inspired by the brief philosophy of “When God became the foundation of a man’s life, any obstacles & problems are only statements of God’s greatness that He will make everything beautiful in His timing and only under His control for those who believes in Him.” The collection divided into 4 colors: black, soft turquoise, soft grey, and white. As the opening of the fashion show, she presents side cut-out long black dress design in splendid turquoise beadings at the center of the gown which fully sprinkled on top of the laces, followed by the cut-out backless black midi dress with a pocket at the front sides. During the second color looks, she brings up her iconic long mermaid dress in the boldness of color combination between turquoise and the navy color, followed by her basic elegant eveningwear. She believes in the in the term “less is more” and emphasis the beauty of embroidery which represent by her third color look. As the closing, Jessica Sambudiono shows her finest white design dresses that pleasing the eyes by revealed the bridal look, 3D evening wear details, and her strong clean cut abstract details mermaid dress. Not only providing the brides-to-be whose craving for modesty wedding gown but also for those who seek a simple yet elegant evening wear in a twist of feminine reflects all the design of this collection. During the fashion show, Jessica Sambudiono presents the timeless silhouette that symbolizes God as foundation of a man’s life, while decorative & abstract details symbolize that the Lord could make broken pieces beautiful and even more. In this collection Jessica develop mosaic, collage, or even 3D technique to random details applied by couture technique for the abstract lace details on evening wear & wedding dresses beautified with the touch of Swarovski and embroidery detailed in A-line, tubular, and mermaid silhouettes. Clean cut, modern, and elegant are the best words that describe her whole look of her “Purification” collection.
