If luxury and opulence is your thing, then look no further than this photoshoot for our bridal collection of cakes L' esprit de la Beauté {The Spirit of Beauty}. Consisting of a trio of French Baroque style cakes, including a stately wedding cake, a Groom's Faberge cake and a Bride's cake. We headed to Labassa Mansion in Caulfield for a day of what turned out for some absolutely awe-inspiring photography. The heritage property is noted for its opulent 19th century interiors and grand proportions and was built between 1863 and 1890 in the French Renaissance style. It was a perfect setting for our shoot. Our gorgeous bride for the day, wore BLACK. Yes a black wedding gown that fitted the theme of this shoot to a tea. Her gown was custom designed and made for the shoot. Her hair, shall we say inspired by Marie Antoinette and her lush dark eyes and soft lip really did leave this bride looking just a little bit different than the norm although absolutely exquisite. As you flick through the photographs, you can't help to be drawn in to the beauty that exudes from each and every one and you get to also have a sneak peek of the interior grand style Labassa is best known for. We’ve included a few Bridal inspo shots too for those looking for some inspo, and we're pretty sure you'll be able to take something magical away from this shoot
