“Love your parents. We are so busy growing up, we often forget they’re also growing old.” This quote seems as a reprimand to us. Yes, we are so busy growing up, catching up our dreams, hanging out with friends, and spending time with the love ones. On the other hand, our priorities have changed and we often dismissed them. The older we get, the bigger the distance between them and us. Although we knew, they have been dedicating their lives and priorities only for us. They are always there. They always support and give the best they could for us that sometimes we take it for granted. Let’s take a moment to think about it. Why don’t we put aside our daily routines for a while? Try to call them once a week, come unexpectedly to their place, and talk about everything happens in our life. Ask them about problem solving. Give them our time. It is because the greatest gift we can give to a special someone is our time. It’s like we’re giving the portion of our life that we never bring back. And, the most beautiful thing in this world to see our parents smiling and knowing you’re the reason behind that smile. Enjoy this portrait of Alternetti’s family!
