Luxury and classy destination wedding at Lake Como in Italy

With this Filipino - Indonesian Couple from California I had chance to meet already 2 months before their destination wedding at Lake Como and all this was possible, because they chose in my offer the extended package with an engagement session. That gave us priceless opportunity to know each other better, for them to get the feeling how it is to be photographed by me and after work we had lovely lunch together in Como town. They came to Italy from California for the first time to know their venue, meet other suppliers, do a test makeup and hairstyle. They wanted to have their pre-wedding couple session in famous Villa Balbianello, where one of James Bond’s series was filmed. We arrived from the lake by boat. Jess and Karl for the first time found themselves in such a paradise garden. We managed to get there before the flood of visitors in high season. Above you can see some of images that I took during their engagement shoot in Spring. When we met in their big day before they started to get ready, we felt like good friends, at ease and I was very happy to meet their family from Indonesia, Philippines, USA. I already knew their wedding venue Villa Teodolinda from my previous works, so I could recognise easily photographic potential of this place. The wedding was organised perfectly, thought out in every detail in a classic style. After the ceremony at the lake, we went for a ride on Lake Como by boat to take couple portraits during their intimate moments. The group that sang the classic Italian opera pieces at dinner was the biggest sensation. Numerous speeches squeezed tears from the eyes and salvos of laughter in turns. When the sun went down, the villa's courtyard got filled with romantic lights and an amazing atmosphere, that you can experience only at Lake Como materialised in the form of DOLCE VITA.
