Melbourne-based bridal service, One Day Bridal was established in 2011 by Kyha, who has a passion for creating beautiful dresses for modern brides-to-be. Having gone through the process of being a bride and trying to find that perfect dress herself, Kyha noticed there was something missing from a lot of places during her bridal journey. "Many of us aren't after that traditional lace gown or even a white gown anymore. We are more conscious about fashion these days, so why should we have to go back to tradition for a wedding dress?" asked Kyha. Realizing that there weren't enough options out there, she decided to create a range of non-typical dresses that modern brides would love.
Kyha channels classic and glamour designs and adds a contemporary flair to her wedding dresses, using high quality fabrics to ensure the perfect finish. "Whether it's a sequined georgette that drapes beautifully, an intricate lace that would look stunning hand-appliquéd over a neckline, or an intricate lace used to contour the lines of the body, the whole process starts with the fabric," she explained further.
Driven by dedication and hard work, the One Day Bridal team will head to New York in a few weeks to showcase their new diffusion label called Chosen.
