A bespoke wedding planner focusing on destination weddings, Global Weddings has managed over 1,000 weddings and events all over the world since launching in 2002. The company was founded by two sisters, Narelle and Michelle Williams, who started the company as a travel agency specializing in overseas resorts. Soon after, Global Weddings started handling small weddings, and quickly grew into a full-fledged wedding planning company dedicated to overseas weddings.
"Our company grew from our knowledge as a resort and travel agency, and we have continued to grow ever since," said Narelle. The sisters' passion in turning each wedding into "the best wedding ever", combined with their relationship with suppliers from the travel industry, made their transition into the wedding industry a lot smoother than they expected.
Today, Global Weddings has dedicated teams in both Australia and Bali. This way, the full wedding planning service will feel seamless from beginning to end. The planning and payments are completed from the office in Australia and when the soon-to-be-wed couple arrives in Bali, the Bali-based team will be ready to assist.
