Established in 2016, Ethereal is helmed by Singapore-based couture designer, Jessicacindy Hartono and one of the world's leading bridal corporations, Watabe Wedding. The label showcases a collection of bridal and evening gowns that imbue grace and elegance to every bride. Every piece by Ethereal has its own story, imprinted with the history and heritage of Chijmes Hall and Caldwell House, both managed by Watabe Wedding.
Despite offering different services, both Watabe Wedding and Jessicacindy have the same goal in mind, which is to provide a memorable experience and top-notch service to all their clients. "We want to make sure that all the key aspects of a bride's wedding day, from her wedding dress to evening gowns, are taken care of properly," explained Koichiro Toyama, founder of Ethereal.
Jessicacindy also ensures that her designs will be fashion-forward yet timeless, even years after the wedding day ends. "I take trends into consideration, but aren't swayed by them as I've developed a strong following of people who appreciate my design sensibility and style," she explained. "However, I will also incorporate elements from trends that will work well with our brides."
Despite her strong signature style, Jessicacindy doesn't hesitate to add her customer's personal touch to her work. To her, even the smallest detail is important for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. "I've received requests from our European brides to include a small blue ribbon anywhere in the inside of the gown, as a form of blessing for them!" she recalled.
