Christine Lie's love of makeup started since she was a young girl. As she grew older, she began to take professional beauty classes to further sharpen her makeup skills. In 2015, she decided to start her own makeup business, Christine Lie Makeup Artistry, in Bandung.
As a makeup artist, Christine considers wedding makeup to be particularly challenging. So many brides have trusted her to transform them into prettier version of themselves, without making them look like someone else.
"It's exciting for me to do this kind of job. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to make brides even more beautiful, without covering their own unique features. Most importantly, I want to make them feel confident about themselves, rather than try to become someone else," shared Christine.
Christine's signature makeup style is a natural look that is elegant without being over-the-top. For Christine, light eye makeup and flawless complexion can do wonders to enhance each bride's beauty and personality. After all, every woman is beautiful and unique in her own way. It doesn't require too much heavy makeup to make a bride look like a star on her wedding day.
