Chester Kher of Chester Kher Creations started working as a part-time freelance photographer in 2013. "I worked alone, with no capital and minimal equipments," he recalled. The Malaysian photographer soon developed a penchant for capturing photos that resonate perfectly with every client.
"I take time to listen to the couple's love story before starting a pre-wedding photo shoot," he explained. One day, he even did an engagement shoot at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. 'The couple literally flew in and out every week, spending most of their time in that particular airport," said Chester.
For Chester, making a lot of money is less important than building a strong reputation as a wedding vendor. This reputation lies heavily on the strong relationship he has built with his clients. "Frankly speaking, there are many photographers who have the same skill," said Chester. "What makes our team unique is how we're not just making a living out of this," he explained, "We have a strong passion to witness, create, and preserve significant memories so that they can last forever."
