Mashita and Satrio had no idea that they would start a wedding stationery business until one day in 2013, when they gave a handmade notebook as a gift for a friend who loved it so much that he posted it on social media. To Mashita and Satrio's surprise, everyone loved the notebook. "At that moment, we realized that we could create other handmade things as special gifts," said Satrio.
After focusing on handmade notebooks for a year, Mashita noticed that many couples had trusted them enough to order mini notebooks as their wedding souvenirs. Soon after, Book.Idea started to branch out to the wedding industry, eventually providing design and printing services for wedding invitations and guest books as well.
