For Scottish couple Chris and Julie, Singapore provided some semblance of home thousands of miles away from their homeland, at least where their wedding was concerned. Big fans of Singapore after frequent visits to this tropical island, Chris and Julie decided to fly all the way here with a small group of family and close friends for what was arguably one of the most important days of their lives.
The couple held their small but elegant ceremony at Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa — in a cozy, private garden looking out to the sea. Surrounded by lush foliage with occasional pops of yellow, pink and purple, the overall greenery and serenity were perfect for the couple's simple yet intimate wedding. The ceremony was as they imagined; despite the less than cooperative weather with a layer of haze, everything else went off smoothly from start to finish.
Chris and his groomsmen brought a little bit of home to the wedding with traditional Scottish attire. Decked out in modern highland gear from head to toe, Chris was in varying shades of green, complete with the distinctive kilt, knee-high socks and shining brogues. He looked very much a true Scotsman indeed! Accompanying the groom was Julie, looking no less stunning in her lace and tulle strapless gown, adorned with small pearls and elegant crystals at the waist.
"Chris and Julie are an extremely nice couple and that made shooting for them fun and easy. I'm happy that they loved their wedding photos," enthused photographer Jerome Goh.
