On May 10th, SOOKEE Jewellery launches its brand new and largest flagship store at VivoCity as well as a polished bespoke experience. On the launching day invited guests were led on a short tour of the 1,172 square feet store, SOOKEE's largest in Singapore, by emcee and television host Angelique Teo to admire the elegant modern decor. Created by an Australian designer, the store's looks takes inspiration form the hourglass, a widely-known symbol of timelessness. Then, guests were led to the Bespoke Experience bar where they're given a live demonstration of a personalized service. James Seah and Nicole Changmin shared their love story with a jewellery designer, which is translated by her into a one-of-a-kind ring design right on the spot. This new service lets couples celebrate and cherish their story in a unique and personal way with added elegance and finesse that SOOKEE's jewels are known for.
To experience the service, customers would need to schedule a consultation, during which SOOKEE's in-house diamond specialists will provide a preliminary diamond education, before couples get to share their love story. After the ring design is done, a 3D rendered image and mold would be created for a final approval. What makes this service even more special is that every ring will be individually handcrafted by an appointed master craftsman, to truly SOOKEE's vision, "one ring, one story."
That's not all, the launch event also celebrated SOOKEE's 20th anniversary and its exclusive Brilliant Rose diamond distributorship. The Brilliant Rose cut unveils a diamond's full potential, fire and character as it has 8 additional geometrical facets compared to a traditional brilliant round diamond. This increase in facets mirrors the geometric mastery of the Rosace window in the Notre Dame Cathedral, which inspired this exceptional cut.
