What comes into your mind when you hear beach weddings? It would most probably be the sun, sand or warm color tones. But not this one, instead of going with warm colors, they were incorporating soft and sweet pastel colors.
The wedding of Steven and Annalise had the perfect balance. It was warm with the sun and beach then harmonized with a hint of mint and white. The mint in bridesmaid dresses with white hydrangea and dusty miller bouquet provided the cool touch for the whole setting.
The reception is also highly adorable. It was held in a beach house not far away from the ceremony site and it was simply gorgeous. Candles all over, transparent ghost chairs, pale-blush flowers everywhere and completed with a simple wedding cake with baby pink rose adornments. One of our favorite details is the seating chart. They had a mirror with the guests' name and table written all over it; a modern and edgy choice.

Here is the bride, sharing a little of her story:
After we first met 4 years earlier, we got engaged in Napa in June 2013. Then it hit me, I realized I had never actually been to a wedding and the panic of planning quickly set in. I had never pictured how my wedding would be like. However, together we agreed that we wanted to have the wedding in an outdoor setting, serve great food, and make sure our guests had a wonderful time.
We knew we wanted a more intimate setting that was something simple, yet elegant. The stars aligned and our dear family friend generously offered their beautiful home, just a few streets away from where I grew up, to us to use for the reception. We decided to set up the ceremony on the local beach close by, where we had spent many summers together and I had spent the majority of my childhood.
The day was a dream comes true. The beachfront ceremony looked as if it appeared out of thin air with its candle lit aisle lined by white hydrangeas, the wooden chuppah, and rows of white chairs. The waves were calm, the wind was non-existent, and the guests were highlighted by a soft, warm glow as the sun began to set and the ceremony began.
Once the ceremony had ended, guests were guided by chalkboard signs to the reception just a few streets away. Guests were greeted by a champagne bubbly bar, live music, and a variety of appetizers. Café lights brightened the courtyard and backyard spaces. The overall day emphasized an organic and intimate setting that highlighted the beautiful surroundings we were so fortunate to be in. The day was truly magical and spent with the people we love dearly.
