After an open air pre-wedding shoot in Jeju Island, social media influencer Samantha Cheok and her now-husband Hosan Swee decided to throw an elegant wedding in their hometown. Contrary to their pre-wedding photos that featured the wilderness, the lovebirds celebrated their union at The Clifford Pier at Fullerton Bay Hotel with modern touches and a soft, spring-like color palette.
Even though rose quartz and serenity have long departed from Pantone's Color of The Year title, there's indeed something timeless about the combination of these two colors that makes them keep revolving around the bridal industry. Seeing the alluring composition, Samantha picked both colors for her beloved sisters' and bridesmaids' dresses, meanwhile all the groomsmen looked endearing in their navy blue tie-less suits. For her once-in-a-lifetime moment, Samantha flaunted her figure in a mermaid silhouette wedding dress. Interestingly, she had the dress designed with an off-shoulder neckline and added gorgeous long sleeves that somehow brought a bohemian vibe as she walked down the aisle. Complementing his bride's high-fashion visual, Hosan looked so sharp in his beige-colored suit.
Samantha also shares her wedding decor theme and inspiration, "I wanted a romantic and polished intimate reception and decided on an Italian Boheme theme for my wedding luncheon. After gathering ideas, I worked with Wedding en Vogue and The Florte to execute my dream set up." Samantha went for long table arrangements furnished with white-cream roses, Italian ruscus and lemons. The cocktail area was also dressed up with assorted citrusy desserts and let's not miss out on the delicous wedding cake too! "It was a delicious lemon curd, Italian meringue creation handmade by my sister, decorated with olive leaves and fresh lemon slices," said Samantha.
