If there's any couple who can manage two days of back-to-back wedding celebrations, it would be the very energetic Keith Teoh and Jerraine Lim, who met on the job at L'Oreal Singapore.
The first day started early in the morning with a Chinese gatecrashing ceremony where the groom and his merry band of brothers braved embarrassing challenges to gain access into the bride's home. Jerraine was a vision of loveliness in her custom-made lace gown with train by JessicaCindy Wedding. "Designer Jessicacindy Hartono was very patient in helping me create my bespoke gown. I just shared my 'vision' of how I wanted the dress to look like, and she managed to piece everything perfectly," says Jerraine.
Shortly after, the couple partook in a traditional tea ceremony, where the bride wore a beautifully embroidered Nonya kebaya to reflect her Peranakan roots. After a hearty lunch, they were whisked away to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary where Keith and Jerraine were pronounced man and wife. For the special occasion, they rented mobile coffee operator OLLA, which proved to be a hit with caffeine addicts.
That evening they hosted a dinner banquet for 250 friends at The Westin Singapore with "live" music by rock band Penny Lane. The fun didn't stop there; the couple threw an after-party soiree on the 33rd floor, which provided a gorgeous nighttime view of Marina Barrage. Even with a hangover the morning after, the couple still managed to host another lunch reception at the same ballroom for 250 family members and loved ones.
Just like their extroverted personalities, their bubbly-infused celebrations was adorned with pop art visuals seen on the invitation cards, photo booth backdrop, coffee cups, menu, and on their truly Singaporean wedding favours – mini jars of Killiney kaya jam!
