Jocelyn and Joshua's love story began at another wedding where Joshua, who was a videographer at the time, met Jocelyn who was attending as a guest. After two years of dating, the couple finally exchanged vows in a moving church ceremony surrounded by the tranquility of lush foliage at Changi Cove.
As the morning sunlight filtered into the hall's floor-to-ceiling windows, the venue was awash in a natural, serene glow. The couple and their guests were treated to a spectacular vista of sprawling forests and greenery. A wooden arch stood at the altar, wrapped in spiralling vines, while blooms in ivory and soft pinks added an elegant touch.
Jocelyn wore a bespoke, understated bustier gown from Kim Seamstress, while her groom was in a bright turquoise suit from Q Menswear that contrasted against the earth-toned decor. At the end of the ceremony, the couple showed off their sleek dance moves on the aisle to Shut Up and Dance and left the crowd cheering behind them.
Guests tucked in to an early morning spread of freshly-brewed gourmet coffee from Bettr Barista and assorted pastries by Swissbake. After that, everyone adjourned to the auditorium for a buffet-style lunch reception. Four long rows of tables stretched from one end of the hall to the other to seat the couple's 110 guests.
The wedding reception was not complete without a photobooth, and the couple and guests had fun in front of one customised with fans in varying sizes and colours — dark and light greens, silver, gold and bronze. There was even dance music spun by French DJ Jeck Hyde for the club-loving newly-weds!
