You thought just crying your eyes out because you were having your period or forcing him to curl up on the couch with you as you drool over Ryan Gossling and Rachel McAdams' love story in The Notebook or talking non-stop about your ex were the ultimate no-nos in a relationship. However, you might not realize that there are other habits or moves that can send his libido out the door faster than you can say "but, but.." Like, your financial habits. Here are a few seemingly harmless habits that can turn him off.
1. Keeping secrets
Have you been truthful about your financial well-being? Do you have unpaid debts which are in arrears and are the collectors constantly calling you?
2. Impulsive spending
You go out with your friends and catch up over coffee and come home with a fistful of shopping bags. Lots of women are so impulsive on their shopping because window shopping is so appealing to the eyes, while at home in their wardrobe hangs an endless array of clothes and against the wall a collection of shoes. Honestly, was that latest buy really necessary?
3. Making bad investments
Just because all your friends decided to buy into the Shanghai stock market and were making easy money, you decided to join without really knowing what you have invested in. Now you probably lost money in the market crash and like cattle, are now following the herd in panic selling. If you need advice, don't be shy to ask for it. Guys always love the opportunity to sound smart.
4. Buying things you don't need
They say that men will pay $2 for a $1 item they need, but women will pay $1 for a $2 item they don't need. We understand that by buying things, you are helping the economy (or so you say!) but do you really have to spend money on things you won't end up using or consuming just because it was on Sale?
5. Too much retail therapy
Men mostly get that (although they might not understand it entirely) women are mostly restless by nature and that shopping calms their nerves. Once in a while, it's okay. But even that excuse can get old after a while, and it will just look like reckless spending instead.
