After gracing the blog with their Betawi themed pre-wedding shoot, today Lucy and Tyo shares their wedding day representing the same culture. Being very familiar with the Betawi culture, the couple decided to go all out with it on their wedding day.
For the akad, both Lucy and Tyo along with family members were clad in white and silver attires, radiating an aura of innocence and class. The reception showcased another story; it was held in a ballroom fully decorated to suit a Kampong Betawi, with houses and all. The whole reception was made in the same theme with ngarak and palang pintu being part of the reception. Even the MC entered the room on a rickshaw, fully dressed in Betawi attire.
To add to the merry celebration, Lucy and Tyo's beloved friends from Abang None Jakarta also performed a flash mob to entertain the guests and the couple with their lively and fun performance. Take a look at the pictures below to get inspired.
