From the opulent décor filled with dramatic floral centerpieces to a gorgeous showcase of couture-worthy gowns, Anthony Arifin and Charlene Chan's wedding at Marina Bay Sands paid homage to all things Indonesian.
With the help of wedding planners from Inside The Knot, they sourced for Indonesia's crème of the crop, such as Charlene's couturier Hian Tjen, who flew in specially to put the final touches to her gowns.
The glamour couple tied the knot in a daytime church ceremony at Church of The Holy Cross. Then, hosted a grand banquet for 800 guests at MBS' Grand Ballroom, with a special musical appearance by Nathan Hartono. The night ended with a DJ-spun after-party with lots of alcohol.
The most memorable detail had to be the ballroom's décor, done by Steve of Steve's Décor who flew in from Jakarta to transform the banquet hall into a dreamy 'Royale Forest' of purple and silver accents. "When Anthony and I walked into the ballroom during our march-in, the décor simply took our breath away," recalls the bride.
"We love that it wasn't a typical stiff ballroom wedding event with us just going through the motions. It was a wedding where our guests immensely enjoyed themselves."
