Sinisa and Sahar had a long term preparation for the happiest day of their lives. They had planned this wedding for 2 years time and when the day finally arrived, nature throws in a bit of her game and had thunderstorms and flooding one day prior to the ceremony. Even so, looking at their wedding pictures today, there is not a slight evidence of stress or worry in the couple's eyes, instead they show beams of joy and love. Sahar looked captivating in an off-shoulder ballgown with an alluring back peek while Sinisa looked his most dapper-self in a white suit.
After officially renounced as man and wife, the two head over to The Croatian Club which was already beautifully decorated with hues of white and gold along with some sparkles of glitter. A short story from the bride:
It was a whirlwind. The night before our wedding there were thunderstorms and flash flooding. The road to our reception had flooded and the boys and groom from the bridal party were stuck inside the reception ballroom until 1 AM. Stress levels were high for the boys and the girls who were lucky enough to be at home, however the day of our wedding turned out to be the most perfect day with not one cloud in the sky. I had planned this wedding on and off for 2 years and it went by so quickly. A lot of energy and time was invested but it payed off in the end because it was an incredible day for both of us. The theme was simple yet elegant which is exactly what I wanted. Nothing over the top and busy. The theme suited our personalities. The ceremony of our marriage was at St Stephens Cathedral in the Brisbane central business districs, one of the most beautiful cathedrals that we have in Brisbane. The ceremony was memorable and meaningful and the best moment was when we were able to walk out out of the cathedral as husband and wife. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding. The thunderstorms and flooding that happened the day before, even though so very stressful, had happened for a reason, and that reason being that myself and Sinisa to have the most beautiful warm sunny day for our long awaited wedding day.
