"Right from the start, we wanted our wedding to be enjoyable both on the actual day and the planning process," explained Angela and Willie on the idea behind their wedding day. The couple made it their goal to avoid adhering to traditions just because everyone did it, but instead adopted only the ones they found personally meaningful. They freed themselves from the usual stress of wedding preparation in many ways, such as replacing the wedding rings with the most adorable gesture of pinky promises to seal their personal vows to each other.
All events was held at the InterContinental Singapore to avoid any hectic rushing from home to the venue, and the two opted for a single march-in so that they can maximize the quality time with their guests. They also chose to have a wedding lunch over dinner, so that they would still be fresh and energized during the banquet. "We love the fact that we weren't afraid to be different, and that in the end we really got to enjoy our special day," expressed the two lovebirds.
Pink and peach tones dominated the decoration by Mojo Element, as they used both flowers and balloons in those colors to accentuate the venue. Angela walked in next to Willie wearing a classic white dress by St Patrick of Pronovias, with a beautiful arrangement of flowers in her hand by Gathered+Styled.
