Being an Italian wedding as it is, the wedding of Emily and Rob incorporated just the right essences of Italy into their wedding. The ceremony was held in the midst of olive trees that somehow lifted up the intimate atmosphere. The bridesmaid was dressed in deep burgundy colored dresses just like a rich glass of wine. Their reception dinner exuded elegance and charms. They had place cards made of wine corks and vines of olives as table runners. Also, the fact that they had only one long table to keep everyone near was so sweet and thoughtful. As you scroll through the pictures sink yourself in and perhaps you can feel the Italian breeze too.

Here is something from the photographer:
The wedding of Emily and Rob was held at Villa Lungomonte in the lush Italian hills of Pisa, where the couple sent a week leading up to the big day with friends and family. After a whirlwind week of Vespa riding, wine tasting, and pasta eating, the big day arrived with a thunderstorm and lots of rain! The skies opened up just in time and the ceremony was held underneath the olive trees showered only with love, laughter, and brilliant sunshine. Champagne and tapas awaited the guests before an al-fresco dinner and dancing to follow by an Italian swing band that kept all the guests dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The soft color palette, Spanish lace of the bride's dress, to the summery casual wear of the groomsmen all helped to accent the villa's natural beauty. As a graphic designer, the bride self-designed the wedding suite of invitations. The flowers were arranged by willing bridesmaids and the bride herself while everything was so loving captured by Laura and Tommy of LaTo Photography.
