Trends may come and go, but classic elements will stand the test of time. Unaffected by the current trends in the wedding world, Edmund and Melissa kept their wedding classy, reflecting their refined taste. While looking for inspirations for their wedding day, the couple fell in love with the classic color palette of neutral and muted colors, which they then used for their own celebration.
At the beautifully decorated Satoo Garden at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, the two exchanged their solemn vows. The white flowers and greenery that adorned the entire space only added more romance to what was already an intimate moment. "Our favorite part of the wedding was when we exchanged our vows in front of God and our closest family and friends. It was such a personal moment for us," said Melissa.
The night reception was a little different. In addition to white, Edmund and Melissa added shades of blush and gold to create a sophisticated and romantic atmosphere. They also added a touch of glamour using chandeliers and crystals. These choices surely did not disappoint, for as you can see, the ballroom looked so majestic. Even so, Edmund and Melissa didn't let any of the glamour get in between them and their guests. "We wanted an intimate wedding, therefore instead of having a standing party with lots of guests, we opted for a sit-down dinner with less guests. After all, a wedding should be about the celebration of your love, instead of only about the decoration or dress," said the bride.
