Talia first laid eyes on William when he served her family at a local restaurant. "Ever since that moment, we have shared a wonderful and winding love story. After nine years of being together, he finally asked me to marry him," Talia reminisced. She then asked Nadia of Nadia & Gunnar Photography, who she met in college, to take her engagement pictures. "I had heard about Will many times during the early stages of their relationship. However, our first meeting happened during the engagement session," said Nadia.
"The couple wanted to have fun, whimsical shots at a natural outdoor setting, which is why we chose the Malibu Creek State Park," Nadia added. Talia and Will, as Nadia put it, are the most fun and in-love couple she had ever met. Even though they were a bit worried that it would rain on the day of the shoot, the cloudy skies added a nice, soft glow to the photos instead. "Everything went very smoothly. We joked around and laughed together. It didn't even feel like we were working." Nadia stated.
But what caught our attention the most is the presence of a striking red balloon that stood out from the muted surroundings. Turns out, the balloon held a significant meaning for Talia and Will's relationship. Talia explained, "During the tough times of our relationship, we often used the red balloon emoji in our text messages. It was a little reminder that no matter what was happening between us, we really did love each other. As we're getting married soon, we will start another brilliantly happy chapter. So, Will decided to incorporate the balloon into the photos and we loved the end results very much!"
