Dream weddings come in different shapes and sizes. For Jem and Moshe, the ideal wedding was something out of the ordinary, a non-traditional wedding that is not held in church, a garden, or by the beach. Instead, a rooftop deck in the middle of Manila, Philippines, was chosen as the setting of their once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Befitting Jem and Moshe's modern and fuss-free personality, the wedding had a minimalist and classy vibe that immediately caught our eyes. From the sleek wedding invitations to the anemone-shaped paper flowers, every element was thoughtfully designed using a simple black-and-white palette. Rather than wear a dress adorned with lace and beads, Jem opted for a stunning off-shoulder jumpsuit, complemented with a simple short veil in white. Next to her were her bridesmaids, looking chic in their little black dresses. And there to capture it all was their photographer, BrenCo Creative Studios.

With all the weddings happening left and right, it was a real challenge to make our wedding stand out. At first, we didn't have a particular dream wedding but we always knew that we wanted it to be anything but traditional. From the beginning of our wedding planning, my husband and I agreed that we want something simple, unique, and classy. That's why we chose a modern and minimal theme with a black-and-white pattern. Black and white added the chic and modern vibe, which perfectly highlighted our personality as a couple. We didn't want our wedding to be another beach or garden ceremony, so we decided to raise the roof (literally) and went for a rooftop venue. We used the cityscape as our backdrop and the sunset made the ceremony even more romantic. One of our unique experiences was that I drove myself to the venue. In order to pull this off, I went with the simple yet comfortable bridal jumpsuit. My friend did the sketch with my two requests: no lace, no beads. We are so glad that we decided to focus on what was really necessarily in our wedding. It saved us a lot of stress and money.
