Aldo's wedding proposal to Vivin went beyond her wildest dreams. "I'm not the romantic kind of girl, so I had never expected that I would be proposed to under the Eiffel Tower. Apparently, it had been Aldo's dream to propose to a girl that way. Lucky me!" Vivin reminisced. Although the proposal took place in Paris, the couple's pre-wedding photo shoot was set in the heart of Central Javanese culture, Yogyakarta.
"The theme for our pre-wedding photo shoot was Javanese contemporary. We love the idea of mixing traditional culture with a more modern, casual atmosphere," Vivin said. The couple then asked Pyara to document their moments as they roamed across the city and its surroundings, dressed in modern ethnic clothing by Lulu Lutfi Labibi and Sejauh Mata Memandang. The results? Artistic engagement photos with a simple yet alluring kind of beauty.
Both Aldo and Vivin enjoyed their trip to Yogyakarta to the fullest. "It was so exciting, as it wasn't just a regular vacation to us," recalled Vivin. Happy as she was, Vivin admitted that she felt very nervous throughout the photo shoot. "Luckily, Aldo was by my side and he was ready to boost my confidence at all times. He was also very cooperative and did not complain at all. I could tell that he enjoyed the session as much as I did," Vivin said.
