This couple's first encounter happened at a dormitory in South Korea, where Edward was visiting a childhood friend who happened to be Levina's best friend. They eventually dated and decided to get married back home in Surabaya. "After our families were introduced to each other, we decided on the dates for our engagement party and wedding. Since Edward's not the romantic type, I thought that there wouldn't be a proposal," Levina said.
Little did she know, Edward had prepared a surprise for her. "One week before our engagement day, we visited our future house. I was watching movies on the second floor and he was on the first floor. I thought he was busy cleaning the house," recalled the bride. When Levina opened the door an hour later, she was surprised to find candles leading her to where Edward was. "He had prepared a steak dinner and after finishing our meal, he asked me to dance with him. That was when he asked me to marry him," she reminisced.
After a planning process that went on for over a year, the big day unfolded just as the couple had always dreamed of. Shades of pink could be spotted on every wedding element, from the dainty invitations to Levina's off-the-shoulder wedding gown. The venue itself was transformed by Dawid Daud into a truly magical setting filled with hanging flowers and chandeliers.
The beautiful bride gave a word of advice for brides-to-be still planning their wedding. "Just relax and don't make too much of a fuss," she said, "Also, don't limit yourself to only the most trendy, prestigious, and expensive vendors. Instead, find wedding vendors you can communicate well with, those who will listen to your wishes and advise what's best for you."
