Liang Song and Hui Min's seed of love was first sown in church, where they met each other and subsequently began a 7-year relationship. To honour the place they fell in love, the couple held their wedding ceremony and lunch reception at Calvary Baptist Church.
Opting for a garden theme, the church was dressed up in peach and lavender-coloured flowers from Blue Nigella and added romantic rustic decorative elements like wicker baskets, fairy lights, distressed signboards, wooden crates and vintage-looking furniture. "I have always wanted to get married in a garden or at the beach. But it is not practical to have an outdoor wedding in Singapore, so we decided to make the location look like a garden instead" shares the bride.
Hui Min was a classic beauty in a Mandarin-collared lace gown while Liang Song was charmingly dressed in a cobalt blue suit and checkered bow tie. The solemnisation was meaningfully officiated by their pastor, who witnessed the blossoming of their relationship and their growth into adulthood.
The beautiful moments of their ceremony were captured by Awesome Memories Photography and recorded by Moving Pics. "We really liked how Alvin and Michelle from Awesome Memories paid attention to all the little details, capturing moments that we missed because we were just too busy. They definitely did not disappoint," Hui Min commends.
