Most couples these days are kept busy with their own working schedule in the office or at home. Even more if we count in the added hours spent getting stuck in traffic. We simply don't spend enough time on our health. At the same time, we also need to spend time working on our relationship too. So, why not keep fit together as a couple? That's a smart way of achieving both at the same time.

Doing exercise on a regular basis not only keep the flab away; it also keeps our bodies fit. It is a wonderful stress relief and we'll sleep better as a result of it. When exercising with our partners, we have the added bonus of time spent with the person we love. Moreover, it is also a wonderful way of keeping each other motivated to exercise.

Here are 6 exercises you can do together as a couple:

1. A brisk walk

Do a power-walk around your neighborhood for at least 45 minutes. It brings all the benefits of a cardio exercise, and you would not have to spend a single dime! Plus, you can catch up on some conversation while you are walking.

The best part about it is that it doesn't feel like an exercise. You'll get movement that's for sure, and the music will release your stresses, and to hold your partner within your arms while you do the tango? Well, we can't think of anything sexier.

3. Yoga and Pilates

Contrary to popular belief, yoga and Pilates are not just for women. Men can benefit a lot from these flexibility exercises too. Get your core muscles strengthened and your body flexible. It will do wonders for your body as you unwind during the stretches.

4. Swimming

You can do laps together until your heart and lungs feel like they're ready to burst. Then relax and float to enjoy each other's company.

5. Cycling

More than just conquering terrains, it's about conquering terrains together. Tandem cycling is even better as you both need to peddle at the same even pace to move forward.

6. Gym Exercises

The gym provides an array of different exercises for cardio and for body strength. It is a good place to get balanced and varied exercise, especially if you enjoy different kinds of exercise. That way you can both enjoy the vigorous workout of your choice and after that you can get together for a nice cup of tea to unwind.
