When you really like a guy, you often opt to wait him to make the first move. But what about if you made the first move instead? The truth is some guys really like it when a girl asks first. Most of them admitted it takes the pressure off of asking a girl out. Four men shared their own experiences on this stuff and how they think about it.

Buy a drink

"I have bumped into this girl few times at my favorite bar. She's never alone, always with a couple of her friends hanging out with her. One day, the waitress served me a drink and told me it's from the 'cute girl at table 6'. I was impressed and didn't take a while to come over her table, introduced myself and everything went well. For me, it's a simple and effective ice breaker. Long-story-short, 'the cute girl at table 6' is now my soon-to-be-wife."

Got the "ticket-to-ride"

"I was dying to see this concert and a girl from my circle of friends invited me to join her, she said she had two tickets. Little did I know, she's not only share the same interest but also she had a huge crush on me and been wanted to ask me out. She nailed it and we had a great time."

Stole the chance

"I knew her because she's one of my friends at college. We hang out with other friends and I liked her a lot but never had a chance (and guts) to ask her out, because, you know, we're friends. But everything changed when she said something like, "Have you heard about this new movie? I've been dying to see it." It gave me the perfect opportunity to suggest her see it together. Our first date was a success and we've been in a relationship in 3 years and it's getting stronger."

Just ask

"She was a girl from work. She was single and I was too. She just asked the "Wanna see a movie this Saturday?" and I'm totally okay with that. For me, a girl asking a guy out on a date is not taboo. It shows confidence, a positive vibe to make a positive first impression."

See, it's totally fine to make the first move. All you need is to remember not to pour the whole thing but only to drop a few hints. Keep a distance from him throughout the first encounter, play hot and cold purposely to confuse him so that he understand how much he needs and wants you and understand how special you are. The next step, leave it to him. Good luck, girls!
