For some couples, pre-wedding sessions might involve elaborate hairdo and extravagant dresses, while striking high-fashion poses. However, it's completely understandable if you think that that's not for you, because you are certainly not alone. Recently, many couples have gotten rid of all fancy outfits and poses, and opt for a super casual pre-wedding sessions. Check out these 4 pre-wedding session tips to embrace the low-key vibe and be nothing less than romantic and heart-warming.
1. Bring it outside
You don't need to be cooped up in the photographers' studio. Instead, try visiting a nearby museum, or other downtown landmarks. You can also go to where you had your first date or the ice cream shop you frequently visit on Sundays. It will evoke the moments you fell in love with each other for the first time. Plus, a panoramic background will add an extra charm to the pictures so you wouldn't need to use any additional props.
2. Or, make yourself at home
Go for a modes approach by taking the pictures taken at home. You'll look relaxed, natural, comfy and effortlessly romantic. But remember to keep it low-key, we don't think a boudoir shoot and a bedroom photo session is appropriate to be posted on your wedding website or invitations!
3. Show Your Personality
For pre-wedding sessions, there is no one you should impress other than yourself. Therefore, go have fun! Whether you are the sporty couple, the playful ones, or the musical duo, it will only make a remarkable session if both of you have a lot of fun together and show who you really are as a couple. Plus, it will create a lasting memory and you'll have stories to tell in years to come.
4. Less is more
Forget what they said about your face angles, heavy makeup and super formal outfits. Instead, just keep in mind that you are having a normal-special date (it's like a normal date, but more special). You don't have to pose, but let it fall naturally between you and him: hug, hold hands, sling your arm around his shoulder, and laugh it out.
